Toyota Sends Off Third Batch of Auto Technicians to KSA

This is the third batch of students to be employed by ALJ, Toyota’s exclusive distributor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. TMP President Michinobu Sugata (11th from left) personally turned over the twenty four (24) graduates to ALJ Regional Operations General Manager Sultan Abdullah Al Ghamdi (12th from left). The program, which began in 2010, was initiated to produce highly-skilled Filipino automotive technicians for employment in various ALJ centers.

With the demand for Filipino technicians rising, training courses such as the TMP-ALJ SATP paved the way for the establishment of TMP’s newest venture: the Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology, Inc. (TMP Tech). TMP Tech will provide manpower for the local dealer network, as well as for its affiliates abroad. Looking forward, TMP Tech is envisioned to become a human resource development hub to serve the regional and global Toyota network. TMP Tech will open in September this year.
