The SATP graduates will be deployed as automotive technicians in ALJ. TMP president Michinobu Sugata officially endorsed the twenty-six (26) technicians to Mr. Lup Hang Wong, managing director of ALJ’s guest service operations, in rites held at the TMP head office in Santa Rosa, Laguna. ALJ is the exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus and Daihatsu products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the seventh largest Toyota distributor worldwide. In 2010, TMP and ALJ signed a memorandum of understanding on the TMP-ALJ SATP. An 18-month training program was conducted to qualified graduates of the Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) partner schools with the objective of training them to achieve Pro-Technician level and certifying them according to global Toyota standards.
