Asia Pacific TVET Policymakers & Educators Visit TMP Tech

Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC), in collaboration with Access Skills Training (AST) – Australia, and Asian Development Bank – Manila, recently held a study visit at Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech).

This year’s theme is focused on the need of Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) institutions to stay relevant and innovative, while meeting the current, as well as anticipating the needs and demands of the global workforce.

With full ASEAN economic integration, the role of TVET now expands to equip people not only with vocational skills, but also with a broad range of knowledge, skills and attitudes.

Having the same mission in mind, TMP Tech has created a strong academe-industry linkage to ensure that graduates of the school are developed in a holistic manner, equipping them with Toyota values and technical skills. Because TMP Tech students are grounded in the Toyota culture and required technical competencies, graduates assimilate better in their work environment when they join the local or international dealer network.
