TMP Tech instructors upgrade skills with Chisholm

Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech) instructors recently underwent a three-week Teacher Skill Upgrade Program with Chisholm Institute, a registered training organization in Melbourne, Australia.

The sixteen (16) participating TMP Tech instructors advanced their competencies and teaching methodologies and learned the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. The program is part of TMP Tech’s curriculum alignment with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), a national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. This will enable TMP Tech graduates to be skills-fit and readily employable in Australia and other Commonwealth countries. The instructors will be awarded with an AQF Certification Level IV after having completed the training and passed the assessment.

This program is a major step in bringing TMP Tech closer to the actualization of its goal of producing globally competitive Toyota technicians while uplifting the lives of Filipinos through ensured overseas employment.
