Toyota PH hosts Asia Pacific CSR meeting

Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) and Toyota Autoparts Philippines (TAP) recently hosted Toyota Asia Pacific’s Social Contribution Working Group Meeting.

The meeting was held as a means for affiliates in the region to share and learn best practices in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), benefitting Toyota’s many beneficiaries. Toyota and its many global affiliates have put an increasing value on being able to provide sustainable contributions to society.

In the Philippines, TMP, together with its social and humanitarian arm, Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation, Inc. (TMPF), has established numerous projects that seek to fulfill Toyota’s mission of contributing to society. During the meeting, TMP and TMPF showcased two of its flagship CSR programs – the Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech) and the Toyota-City of Santa Rosa-GK Village Project.

The school aims to provide the Filipino youth with world-class technical education and a better future.
