Toyota Dealers Association signs deal with Toyota School

The Toyota Dealers Association (TDA) and the Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech) recently held a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony to formalize a partnership that will strengthen and promote academe-industry linkage among Toyota-related organizations.

Toyota Dealers Association signs deal with Toyota School

Under the agreement, each Toyota dealer will sponsor at least one TMP Tech scholar per year for the 2-year Automotive Servicing Course. Upon graduation and completion of the course, the scholar will be given the opportunity to be employed under the dealer outlet which sponsored him or her. To facilitate better learning, the dealers will also accommodate TMP Tech students for on-the-job training (OJT), giving them exposure to actual dealer workshop experience.

As the domestic auto market demand increases, the manpower requirement for after-sales automotive technicians will continually grow. The TMP Tech-TDA deal will address this need to ensure that all Toyota dealer outlets will be well-equipped with automotive professionals providing topnotch after-sales service to its customers.
